Well insulated, these beautiful and heavy duty containers are made of stainless steel, inside and out. Built to withstand the rigors of moving hot or cold food and drink from one location to another. They utilize a vacuumized sealed-under process used exclusively by the manufacturer, the Vacuum Can Company of Chicago, IL. The 3 large containers measure 26" high x 14" in diameter. One container has 4 aluminum holding pans that are 11" in diameter x 5 1/2" deep and has a holding rack. The other one has a holding rack with 3 pans, and the 3rd one has 2 pans. Most of the pans come with lids. The 3 smaller containers are for holding liquids and come with easy pour dispenser spouts, much like found on a commercial coffee or tea thermos. They hold approx 1 1/2 gals. of liquid. The lids are insulated as are the containers. Great for catering or large commercial uses. These are the strongest containers I have ever seen. These vintage containers will last for many more years. They were originally made in the '60's and look like they could have been made yesterday. Sturdy, well-designed and rugged.
