Intermec 1545 Hand Held Table Top Bar Code Scanner This set consists of a handheld Intermec 1545 bar code scanner with finger trigger, a tabletop stand that holds the barcode scanner at an adjustable height and uses a light sensor to trigger it automatically when something passes underneath, a wedge-shaped data exchange unit, a power adapter, and two keyboard cables for connecting the unit to a keyboard and computer. The stand has two 9-pin D connectors on the back, one of which goes to the scanner and the other of which goes to the wedge via a 10-contact telephone-style connector. The wedge's two keyboard connectors (one for the keyboard and one for the computer) are also both 10-pin telephone-style connectors. There's a small audio connector on the back as well. The keyboard cables consist of a short one leading to a PS/2 connector and a longer one leading to an older-style 5-pin keyboard connector with a short PS/2 adapter on the end. This unit has not been tested. The stand was partly disassembled for shipping, take care when removing it from the packaging as its two halves are still connected by a wire.
