By changing an external cable, you configure the reader for your individual workstation. The unit comes equipped with four status lights, located on the front sloped panel, which provide the operator with the readers current operating condition. Intermec designed the 9570 to read and auto-discriminate between CODE 39, Interleaved 2 of 5, and many other popular barcode symbologies. Features include: Compatibility with IBM PC compatible systems, IBM 3178/79/80/91/96, 5291-2, Decision Data 3761/81/91, Memorex 2178/79, Telex 078/79/80/179/180 ; Keyboard entry emulation without application software modifications; User changeable ASCII to keystroke lookup tables; Advanced decoding algorithms for reading even problem bar codes; Automatic discrimination between the major bar codes; Accepts direct input from contact and non-contact scanners; Power for wand directly from terminal; Auxiliary port which accepts input from scales and Intermec portable readers; and Easy installation and configuration.
