Introducing the Invertiweld TIG 200 E The E stands for easy, because that is exactly what you get here, a simple straightforward, easy to use AC/DC TIG welder that doubles as a excellent stick welder as well. There are no unnecessary adjustments, nothing to distract you from the process of making high quality welds in steels and alloys, with a rugged high duty cycle machine. You only need choose your preweld gas purge time, current upslope time, weld current, and gas afterflow, if you choose to use the convenient torch trigger, which can be locked to remain on as long as you want, so as to reduce fatigue and help with welding in awkward situations. Alternately, you can go old school, and simply set preweld gas purge, and afterflow, and control the welding current with the high quality domestically manufactured foot control. Either way, you will have no trouble getting excellent results with the fine machine. A true 60% duty cycle and rugged all metal construction make this welder at home in both the home or commercial shop. The TIG 200E is also a outstanding stick welder, easily running most common electrodes such as 7018, and 6013. Like most inverters however, it does not tolerate the high cellulose 5P style electrodes often used in making root passes in pipe work.
