For sale one measuring loupe  10 X , made by IOR Romania. Was made in 80' I think, condition is NOS  , I have 5 more in the same condition.All metallic construction, the lens is made of glass, uncoated, the cylinder that hold the lens is made of nickel plated brass, painted black on inside to absorb reflected light. The lens is held in place inside of the brass cylinder with a fine threaded nut.  The base is made of aluminium or zinc, two parts, one screw hold together the parts by friction. The upper part of the base can be rotated with the loupe in place. The loupe( brass cylinder) is held in place by a flat spring and can slide easily vertical.  The optical part is made of several lenses glued toghether with canada balsam. The measuring ruler is made of stainless steel, chemically engraved . The smaller division on the ruler is 0,1mm ( 0.00397 " ) , the ruler measure 10 mm  I use one almost daily on my lathe and until now no signs of rust on the ruler. The ruler is placed at 45 degrees so the measuring is made by comparison with the ruler. Light is need, but not direct sunlight, the steel is reflecting the strong light. Can be used to measure the width of a line on paper,  crack on concrete etc. I think was designed to be used with a Poldi hammer, to measure the indentation left by the steel ball in the metal Will be delivered in bubble envelope.
