HP859X Remote Control iPanels is a program designed to remotely control and operate the HP859x Spectrum Analyzer. Remote execution of the program requires a personal computer, an HP859x Spectrum Analyzer, and a communications link between the two. The link can consist of a telephone or TCP/IP network. Comes with 94 page manual on disk. iPanels for the HP859x Spectrum Analyzer Description: "iPanels for the HP859x" creates a graphical front panel for a remote spectrum analyzer on your PC monitor. The software runs under Windows95/NT to provide near-realtime remote operation and viewing via modem, LAN or HPIB for any HP859x series spectrum analyzer. Since iPanels for the HP859x brings instrument data into the Windows95/NT environment, you may print measurement results on any printer or plotter supported by your PC. The measurement data can also be exported to other Windows applications, such as Excel, for analysis and the analyzer screen, complete with measurement results, may be copied to a word processor application. Test data may be logged and stored in a data file during manual or automatic operation; the size of the file is limited only by the computer's disk capacity.
