This is a collection of 10 (ten) IRC precision (0.5% tolerance) wire-wound power resistors, arranged on a circular phenolic disk a bit over 3-in in diameter, and wired sequentially to a 12-position rotary switch. Each resistor is wired in series thru the switch, therefore the switch will place across the terminals (the cut wires in the photos) any value from 10 ohm to 100 ohm, in 10 ohm steps. The additional 2 steps on the switch are open and short, respectively. The whole thing mounts in a panel hole via a threaded post (similar to standard potentiometer) under the knob. The resistors themselves are power wire-wound, type WW4J, with labeled accuracy of 1/2 percent (0.5%). The resistors are in excellent condition, with no discoloration due to overheating. The switch clicks thru all positions, appears to be a sealed unit, although I don't have any way of thoroughly testing. These resistors alone list for $5+ each at 1% tolerance; the ones in this assembly are all 0.5% tolerance. The assembly can be used as a precision resistor array, or the individual resistors can be removed with minimal fuss for a nice collection of precision 10-ohm power resistors.
