For Auction - 1 - ISC Model 55 Vertical Shaft Impactor (VSI). SN 55-105. We purchased this item to complete a project for a specific customer. While it was being rebuilt the customer sold his operation to a competitor that had its own aggregate source. The purpose for us was to produce a #8 gravel (pea) with two face fractures. The crusher was purchased from Process Machinery in Kentucky. They took it to their facility and rebuilt the wear parts and installed a new 150 HP crusher duty vertical motor. We were told by Process that it will crush -1-1/2" river gravel at a rate of 100 TPH with the majority of the particles in the 3/8" x 1/4" range. The crusher has a 25' x 36" under conveyor and the belting is brand new. It has a Dodge shaft mounted gearbox. The conveyor folds back on itself for transport. The entire unit is mounted on a single axle carrier with a fifth wheel pin. There are 4 - 10.00 x 20" tires with about 30% tread remaining. The entire machine has been freshly painted and the conveyor inspected and repaired. We bought this crusher at the recommendation of a veteran in the crushing business. He owns several similar units and said that they are ideal for making a cubical product as specified in the paving industry. We have never used this crusher or wired it up for that matter. We would welcome anyone to come to our site and inspect the machine. Since my last listing, I have acquired more information on the unit. It has a 6 - shoe rotor and a 24 anvil ring. Two of the anvils are new and 22 are from the original machine when purchased. Process assures me that the 22 old anvils are 75% or better but I do not know. They look to me as if they may be in various conditions but all appear to have a good bit of life in them. I have copied the original sales order description for your review.
