Condition is "Used". Shipped with Economy Shipping service. The Astra Ishida scale is a counter scale printer that can weigh and print out labels. Establishments such as delis or supermarkets will have a separate scale where the cashier would punch in the PLU(Price Look Up) code of the item, weigh the item, and then print out a barcode for the weighed item. Then this barcode is brought to the front counter to be rung up and paid for. How to Program or Enter in PLUs The scale is a separate piece of hardware that acts independently from Revel’s POS application. The scale will need to be programmed separately, which includes entering in the PLUs. Make note, the PLU must be programmed for 5 digits for the Revel application to properly read the barcodes (On page 26 of the Astra Manaul, use POS Code Type: 4). Please refer to the two downloadable manuals below to learn more information on the Ishida scale including how to enter in PLUs via a simple PC program. Please note, to connect the scale to the PC, the PC needs to have a serial port. We are not provide any technical support.
