Z View Aberrometer by Ophthonix The only lens made to the patient's unique optical fingerprint or iPrint™. LET WAVEFRONT PRECISION GUIDE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS Utilizing a proprietary, non-Hartmann-Shack technology, the Z-View Aberrometer quickly and accurately measures high order (3rd - 6th) aberrations of the eye, as well as sphere, cylinder and axis. In approximately one minute the Z-View arrives at a fully customized prescription. The through-the-lens optics provides objective wavefront-guided measurements and virtually eliminates instrument myopia. 1). The Z-View is placed either in a pre-exam or exam room. 2). The patient looks into the Z-View at a binocular target. 3). A safe, low power laser is directed into the eye 4). The light is reflected off the retina. 5). The light reflected off the retina through the cornea and lens is directed back into the Z-View to measure the wavefront. 6). The wavefront data are used to calculate the optical fingerprint of the eye, including low and high order measurements of the eye. 7). The Z-View Aberrometer produces a full prescription including the high order measures, sphere, cylider and axis. Z-View Aberrometer – Product Information Advanced, contemporary design Binocular, through-the-lens Internal target for near vision testing Real world external target for far distance vision testing Ethernet capable, easy interface Wide dynamic range - 12.0 D to +11.0 D sphere Meets needs of 98% of the population Pupil diameter measurement Pupilary distance measurement Automatic pupil capture High accuracy R2 = 0.988 with manifest refraction from -11.0 D to +5.0 D Highly repeatable Resolution: >11,300 points over 6 mm pupil Integrated normative database and algorithm to identify iZon Lens candidate Optical iPrint In approximately one minute, the practitioner takes the refraction needed for iZon Lenses with the Z-View™ Aberrometer. The customized, comprehensive prescription includes the conventional sphere, cylinder and axis, and also high order (3rd-6th) aberration measurements. A detailed iPrint, an optical map of the unique microscopic irregularities of each eye, is produced. The iPrint indicates the presence of high order aberrations that impact the quality of the patient's vision. Customized iZon Lenses are "Powered by iPrint™". Z-View Aberrometer – Patient Benefits Precise fully customized prescriptions lead to "High-Definition" vision Exam takes approximately one minute with little subjective input Greater diagnostic information than ever before to guide the Eye Care Practitioner with difficult refractions Provides a unique iPrint™ for each patient and each eye Z-view is in the original box, cables and manuals are included.
