Jackson Shadowaire II PAPR (Powered Air Purifying Respirator) with NexGen EQC Welding Helmet, with 8 Hour Battery The Shadowaire II provides comfort while protecting you from the harsh work environment. Shadowaire II is the latest technology in powered air purifying systems designed to protect against certain dusts, mists and fumes. Sleek plenum design allows for more head room and attaches to helmet instead of headgear for more comfort. Positive pressure supplies a continuous flow of filtered air. Drawstring closure allows comfortable custom fit. No fit testing required. Flame-retardant face seal provides full head coverage. Includes Jackson EQC’s – the latest in auto-darkening technology. Flame-retardant and crush-proof hose – the ONLY one in the industry. Airflow exceeds the NIOSH standard by over 25%. Audible alarm for low battery and low airflow. Adjustable belt with lumbar support. Lightweight and portable unit. Includes industrial strength fan. Long filter life. The NiMH battery has no memory retention and is approximately 40% lighter than the NiCad battery. Smart Charger provides fast, reliable battery charging. Environmentally-friendly battery disposal. Protects against radio nuclides, asbestos and other dusts, mists and fumes with time weighted averages less than 0.05 milligrams per cubic meter. Meets OSHA Requirements. NIOSH approved. Meets All Applicable ANSI Z88.2-1992 Standards for Respiratory Protection. Meets All Applicable ANSI Z87.1-1989 Standards For Eye and Face Protection. Weight: 7 lbs. There is a few light scuffs to outside front screen of welding helmet (this piece is replicable) This unit was used 2 separate times and is in overall great condition.
