 JANOME FM-725 NEEDLE FELTING EMBELLISHER MACHINE The FM-725 is a needle felting machine. It does not sew, but uses barbed needles to mesh fabrics together. The fibers mingle to create new color and texture combinations that simply cannot be achieved with embroidery, applique, or any other kind of needlework. It doesn't require thread, a bobbin, or any previous sewing experience. KEY FEATURES: Five Needle Unit: Instead of using a thread or bobbin, these sharp needles each have "barbs" that catch the fibers of the fabrics and push them down through the layers. Janome preset five-needle construction reduces needle breakage, even when working with multiple layers. Five Hole Design: The Five Hole Design of the base plate keeps fabric in place and helps the needles penetrate multiple layers. Easy Clean Lint Box: The Lint Box is quick and easy to clean. It is also sealed from the motor unit so lint and debris won't cause damage. Free Arm: The unique base storage box slides off making it easy to felt directly onto cuffs and sleeves. Ideal when making three-dimensional projects like hats, bowls, or sculpture. Adjustable Presser Foot and Finger Guard: The See-Through Adjustable Presser Foot allows you to manipulate multiple layers with visibility. The See-Through Finger Guard keeps your fingers safe as you work. ADDITIONAL FEATURES: Five-hole needle plate with five needle unit. Single-hole needle plate. Single needle unit. Free arm capability.
