Overview Drawer works with PC POS Terminals. User designates a USB I/O as the cash drawer interface port that outputs 5V to the USB Interface Module that electronically steps it up to 24V to activate the drawer release system. The RJ interface cable connects to the cash drawer & the USB Module RJ jacks. The USB interface cable connects to the terminal & the USB Module USB jacks. Both interface cables are black & 2M/78" long. Drawer open/closed status micro sensor is installed & available for use. Cash drawer is made of black molded ABS & has 5-bill compartments & 5-coin compartments. Two coin compartments are fixed. A removable coin till has 3-adjustable compartments. Salient Features & Functions Drawer has a removable cash tray made of black molded ABS. It has 5-fixed bill compartments & a removable coin till with 4-coin compartments. Drawer front has 1-slot for inserting documents that store under cash tray & coin till. Drawer RJ jack is located in the out-of-the-way well underneath. Drawer emergency release lever is located underneath. Drawer security lock has 3-positions: open, closed, manual open. Drawer housing, bottom plate & open cash drawer are constructed of heavy-duty steel. Drawer heavy-duty suspension system has heavy-duty steel ball-bearings set in nylon wheels that are installed on a heavy-duty steel cash drawer frame that operate in heavy-duty steel drawer channels. Drawer steel housing components are powder-coated in black texture for a durable hard skin finish. Usage Drawer is designed for medium to high usage.
