It's a perfect time of the year to treat yourself, or buy this kit for someone you know that can use and appreciate the best. This is a beautifully prepared and very complete Jensen JTK-17 tool kit in dark brown vinyl, made in USA in the 1970's. It is in virtually as-new condition (see the condition statement). I must say 'apparently unused' and 'virtually new' because I cannot say with 100% certainty that no tool was ever used, even once. What I can say, with confidence, is that - take it from an appreciator of quality tools - you will not be disappointed with the quality of this kit. Not only is the Jensen-supplied box made in the USA, but as far as I can tell, all tools are made in the USA also. Check the packing list image for well respected US brand names, such as Xcelite, Klein, Vaco and Telvac. How about that beautiful Stevens-Walden (SW) ignition wrench set? I went through the Jensen packing list (see image) and checked that each item listed was present. I noted a missing flashlight, which I haven't added, but because I wanted the kit to be otherwise completely as shipped from Jensen, I have sourced a pair of electrician's scissors, of Klein manufacture, unused and at least the equal of Telvac or Claus model originally supplied. I also supplied a used, but clean, Excelite 1-1/2" flat bladed screwdriver to replace the missing 2". Other than those items, everything on the JTK-17 bill of material is present. There was no test meter in the kit, but as this was an optional extra according to the Jensen list, it may not have been ordered. This vinyl clad, hard case kit is no longer manufactured, but Jensen is still very much in business, so it is easy to check out their equivalent kits and prices at the Jensen web site. You will see that today's JTK kits are offered at $500 and above. Measuring 18-1/2" x 13" x 4-1/2" the JTK-17 weighs 18.5 lbs. I cannot quote the shipping costs until the buyer's location is known. Some discoloration of brass fittings due to age, all tools listed on Jensen packing list are present, except for a missing flashlight.
