we just received a bunch of JFW Attenuators , they were custom made for Motorola and we were unable to find a datasheet so we opened one up to figure out the pin-out and then measured the part ! The attenuator has 7 cells , 32/16/4/8/2/1/0.5dB , the typical thru line insertion loss is < 2dB ,  the attenuation is nice and flat from 10-1000MHz , the useable frequency range is to 1500MHz , the attenuator cells are switched in by applying TTL level to the control pins , the attenuator also needs a fixed 5V supply for the drivers ,  this is a electronic attenuator and therefore has a higher lifecycle than mechanical attenuators ! Each attenuator is supplied with the control connector and pin-out !  overall those are nice and inexpensive attenuators and great for RF Testing , since they are controlled by TTL signals interfacing with Microcontrollers is very easy ATTENTION :  WE WILL BE TAKING DOWN ALL ITEMS ON THURSDAY 06-02-2016 AS WE WILL BE TAKING OUR ITEMS TO THE 2016 HAMCOM IN IRVING TX , ITEMS NOT SOLD AT HAMCOM WILL BE RELISTED 06-05-2016 !
