I'm not into these but bought a pile of stuff from an old guy next to me at a tractor swapmeet. I'm pretty sure he said this unit was for a Ford,something like a power unit or windrower that didn't need headlights so it didn't need a battery and distributor ignition. It appears to be in good condition,no visable cracks in the cap but has black tape around it where it meets the housing,presumably for moisture control. The cap also has all four screws in the corners. No cracks,damage or repairs visable in the housings,just needs some cleaning up. If the drive is turned with a wrench it does have resistance and turns with a snap like I think it should. The drive shows very little wear. It does have slotted bolt holes so the timing can be adjusted. If someone is interested but wants to see inside I will remove the tape and cap and add pictures. On the side of the mag it says Type F.M. and number stamped under that is X4B73. Thanks for looking. If sold it will be sent Priority Mail. Price includes box,careful packing,shipping and insurance,no other fees or costs.
