Right up front: I'm not a dentist and I don't know much about what this item is but I can tell you it looks good and doesn't show signs of abuse. I presume it works as it should but cannot test it to be sure. It came in a bulk lot from a retired dentist who has closed his shop and that is all the history I have. I'll be more than happy to take more photos if you need them and I'll try to answer any questions you may have if I am able.
