Jouan GR4i Laboratory Refrigerated Centrifuge DAMAGED- PARTS AND/OR REPAIR I am selling this unit for Parts and/or Repair. This unit is damaged from a rotor fail. The inside stainless steel chamber is dented and has holes. The motor shaft is bent and the top motor casing is broken. Everything else looks good. I believe this centrifuge is probably worth repairing or a whole bunch of good parts. The refrigeration unit works great and quickly cools the chamber. The control panel is displaying error messages but I believe the panel is good. It does respond to buttons being pushed. The external case is nice and the safety lid lock system is working. Comes with the Jouan GR4i, and power cord. There is no rotor. I believe it can be programmed for several different runs. This centrifuge weighs 282.5 lbs and will require freight shipping. To give you some idea it will cost approximately $220.00 for West Coast shipping and approximately $290.00 for East Coast shipping. Contact me for an exact quote. The chamber and motor will have to be replaced before this unit can be used. There is no rotor or buckets. The refrigeration unit is working great and quickly lowers the chamber temperature. The cabinet is very clean with some normal sign of previous use in the form of a few scratches in the paint. Still an attractive machine. The speed and temperature displays are working. The control panel is showing some errors and I believe the errors are caused by the damage motor. The control panel does respond to buttons being pushed. The lid is working good and the door seal and safety lid locks are good. The cord is good and the wheels are fine.
