It is used and does have some wear and tear to it in the form of scuffs and scratches. There are also other pieces in the case - a Gould Burgess unit (P/N: 402913), acessories for the mounting bracket on the autofinder and a cable that has been cut on the end (and also wrapped in duct tape). The orange hard-shell carry case is worn as well on the outside but the packaging on the inside is in fair to good cosmetic condtion to keep the pieces secure. The latches on the sides work smoothly to keep the box closed and I do not see any rips in the fabric strap. Refunds only if item is DOA. Please check model number and compatibility! It was well received, but soon displaced by more efficient and less expensive systems.
