Optics work fine; I noticed some tiny black specs on lens nothing at all that will obscure vision. Case is hard plastic. Adjustment knobs and all movable work fine, all movable parts work fine. Nothing appears broken. I don't know how old this piece is. I know nothing about this equipment so please review pics. I will do my best to answer questions.
