Manufacturer's Description: The 236 Source-Measure Unit is a fully programmable instrument, capable of sourcing and measuring voltage or current simultaneously. The 236 is really four instruments in one: voltage source, current source, voltage measure, and current measure. Creating custom sweeps of voltage or current is facilitated by the use of three waveform operations: CREATE, APPEND, and MODIFY. These allow the user to select waveform parameters, combine multiple waveforms, and select and change any points in a waveform previously created or appended. Features: Source voltage: 100 µV to 110 V Source current: 100 fA to 100 mA Measure voltage: 10 µV to 110 V Measure current: 10 fA to 100 mA Load capacitance: stable into 20,000 pF typical Connectors: outputs 3-lug triaxial; trigger Input/Output: BNC(f) IEEE-488 interface 105-125/210-250 Vac; 50-400 Hz operation
