This meter was used for testing of a chiller at start-up to verify its internal metering output. Afterwards, it was re-boxed and put in storage. This unit is made in the USA. This is an excellent meter for sub-metering applications of various loads, transformers, back-up generators, lighting, or process circuits. This unit has the optional CT shorting / shunting block and two line display installed. This version of the PT-9000 Series is the 9500 with takes CTs with 5 amp secondaries to measure the primary current range on the CT. Background: The PT-9000 Series PowerTrak power monitoring interface from Kele monitors numerous power system parameters for local display and/or remote connection to a building automation system, energy management, BAS, or other data acquisition equipment. The PT-9000 Series can monitor any three phase or single phase 50/60 Hertz electrical system from user 120-600 volt settings without the need for potential transformers. Higher voltage systems such as 5 kV or 15 kV can also be monitored using potential transformers. This PT-9000 Series uses 5A current transformers. A truly unique feature of the PT-9000 Series is its ability to identify and electronically correct wiring problems such as reversed CT polarities or improper phasing of voltages with CT's.
