Kelsey Excelsior Mecury Model N  Hand Lever Platen Letterpress Here is an excellent example of a fully functional bench top platen lever press manufactured by Kelsey & Company This self-inking hand lever bench top press is in outstanding condition, retains all factory parts, has been very carefully disassembled, cleaned, all steel and metal parts have been polished, re-finished with Hammered Enamel, detailed to like new condition, fine tuned and set up to print right from the crate. This machine operates very smooth and precise and will certainly reproduce excellent letterpress prints for many generations. This late Model N Kelsey is equipped with the lower roller stop adjustment and bed locking features not found on the earlier manufactured models.   These presses are no longer in production, therefore continue to increase in value Information, supplies and instruction can readily be found on the internet The Press measures 19'' long x 15'' high x 10'' wide and weighs 28 lbs with rollers and trucks intact. The Platen measures 4.00" x 6.00'' The inside Chase measures   3.00'' x 5.00" The auction includes: 1 Kelsey Model N Letterpress,  2 brand new high quality rubber rollers,  4 brand new machined polished steel roller trucks,  Kelsey Press Manual and Guide Book, Type chase set with Ludlow custom greeting of your choice, Quoin bars and maple furniture, Tympan paper & Hardboard packing, & 12 sheets Crane Lettra stock.
