This auction is for TWO Kenwood TK-805D UHF mobile transceivers. These radios have long been popular because they can be programmed from the front panel -- no expensive software or cables to buy. I will include a printout of the programming instructions. (All previous programming has been erased on both radios.) Both radios are the newer, revised version of this model (you can tell because the serial numbers are higher than 41200000), and are the version designed for the 450-470 MHz range (indicated by the "-01" at the end of the FCC ID number). Each radio has 16 channels and transmits 25 watts. You can use the front panel to program the following: The width of the band you want the radio to cover Time-out timer Busy channel lockout Mic hook operation Priority channel Function of the "Monitor" switch RX/TX frequency offset (for use with repeaters) RX and/or TX tones (type and frequency) Scan resume time Priority channel look-back time Both radios function properly. Both radios have hand mics. One radio has a mobile mounting bracket (screws attaching it to the radio are mismatched, but the right size). Both radios have both halves of the power cord (one fairly short, the other longer). Both radios show signs of wear and use. The one with the mounting bracket has "0295" engraved on the top of the plastic faceplate. The one without the bracket shows signs that similar engraving was "smoothed over" with a soldering iron or something similar. The winning bidder is responsible for programming these radios (just follow the instructions on the included instruction sheets), and for legal operation of them.
