We acquired these units from a medical auction and they are NOS (new old stock). We tried several sticks and they were easily bendable when heated. About 3" in length with a diameter of 1/4" (6mm). "Kerr Blue Inlay Casting Wax (Hard) is Rigid at Body Temperature (99°) and yet softens at but a few degrees higher. These properties combine to make an accurate wax for direct inlay work as it will not distort in the mouth, and still it is extemely easy to manipulate because of its low softening point. The wax become very plastic, is homogenious, does not crumble, and can be built upon. It can be softened over a flame or in warm water, and hold its heat.
