Cortland Cable Kevlar lifting sling. Originally designed as a lifting sling for helicopters. Used to lift heavy haul items.The beauty of this sling is the weight of the sling, this sling only weighs 25 lbs. line is app 1.10 inch in diameter. Rated for 15,000 lbs. 50 feet long. rubber/plastic coating keeps rope from being snagged or cut. Original cost over $1200 each. Can be used as a lifting sling, or tow line. Very Nice, Govt Surplus. Cannot be exported. Free freight, in lower forty eight states.              75,000 lbs minimum breaking strength.  Material of cord is Vectran strength member. Extruded polyurethane jacket, Urethane molded eye sections.  Construction  8 x (12 x 1500/22) plus black extruded cover.    Cortland made these under special contract to Fort Campbell Kentucky.
