The buyer is solely responsible for disassembly, removal, and clean-up of the boilers. This auction features two (2) Kewanee Iron-Fireman industrial steam boilers, Model K37, Size KIF89-125, Serial# L3418, L4600, Series 1X, 10,260 MBH Rating, Certified Output 13,114 MBH, Firing Rate 16,400 MBH, 2,143 sq.ft. The sale also includes all attached piping and electrical controls. The boilers are sold as-is, and potential buyers are encouraged to schedule an appointment to visually inspect the units (located in Sterling, IL) before placing a bid. firing area, max steam pressure 15psi, max water pressure 30psi. These units have not been started since being acquired in 2014, and we cannot guarantee whether they run. The units weigh approximately 40,000 lbs each, not including piping, and have the following dimensions: 21' L x 11' T x 9' W. If you have any questions, please ask before placing a bid. Access to the area is restricted to Tues-Fri between 9A-5P, and due to the small size of the room, the boilers will need to be disassembled and crane or forklift'd out.
