One of the major benefits of the KD-HDMSW4X4 is its versatility. It supports lossless compressed digital audio (DolbyВ® TrueHD, DolbyВ® Digital Plus and DTSв„ў-HD Master Audio) and offers distribution of video, audio, IR and RS-232 via two CAT5 cables. This eliminates the need for expensive additional equipment and delivers flexible performance. The switch also comes with four KDCATHD4X4Rx baluns and eight HDMI cables to simplify installations even further. Additionally, Key Digital's products are built on an open platform which supports all major control systems, enabling the KD-HDMSW4X4 to negotiate the handshake with an internal EDID library of nine default EDIDs. Overall, the KD-HDMSW4X4 provides reliable, easy, and fast integration of video and audio in both residential and commercial applications. With its flexibility and user-friendly operation, it's a great option for those looking to enhance their A/V systems. The KD-HDMSW4X4 allows up to 4 HDMI/DVI sources to be independently switched to 4 displays or projectors, making it an ideal option for a variety of applications. the switch supports all SD, HD, and VESA resolutions up to 1080p and provides full support for 3D and 4K HDMI1.4 features, HDMI 1.3a/b, 12-bit Deep Color, and HDCP.
