PLEASE NOTE: This is a GENUINE KING Brinell Tester built by King Tester Company in Pennsylvania. This is a highly-regarded instrument with 60 years of history behind it, and it is often imitated. This is not one of the foreign-made imitations! This instrument has had little or no use. In fact, it is one of many things my company purchased for some future project and set aside to gather dust.  It is near-perfect with a couple of exceptions, and because of these exceptions, I am listing it as used.  Someone in our company tried out the tester directly on the replaceable anvil instead of using a piece of scrap, so there is a small dimple in the anvil. It could be quickly refaced on a lathe, used as-is, or replaced. The other flaw is that there is some surface rust on the base. Please see the photo with the 2 arrows. I could touch it up, but I'd prefer to leave that to the buyer than to have it look as if something's been covered up. I cannot guarantee that this unit is still in calibration. I do claim that it is a very well-made instrument in excellent condition. Shipping is a flat $75.00 to 48 states. I will be happy to arrange for local pickup, and that will be for cash only- sorry , no exceptions.  I may also be willing to ship to Canada but the costs, including those incurred by using a customs broker would have to be born by the buyer. If the item is going to be shipped, PayPal is the only acceptable method of payment. I will accept a return only if you can demonstrate that it was not as described.  Our company paid around $9,000 for it and I'm offering you the opportunity to save an enormous amount of money.  Please only bid on this item if you are familiar with its use.
