The Klein 63040 25-Inch Standard Cable Cutter offers greater cutting power, clean and precise cuts, and long life. Perfect for making a clean, even cut for ease in fitting lugs and terminals. The lightweight, yet efficient shear-type cable cutter's. The 63040 features a soft cable-cutting maximum capacity of 1-3/8-Inch in diameter and a MCM cable-cutting maximum capacity of 500 MCM for copper and 750 MCM for aluminum. Exceptionally strong fiberglass handles with heavy vinyl grips add comfort and slip resistance. The 63040 features heavy-duty pins in the head that serve as blade-stops. The jaws are forged tool steel with black-oxide finish for long life. Beveled tips assure positive mating, and hinge on a rugged bolt with a pin-set nut to maintain proper blade tension.
