You're bidding on a KMCI Hydrophilic Coating Machine! The Kuntz Manufacturing hydrophilic coating system provides hydrophilic coating and UV curing for catheters, guidewires and various medical and non-medical device applications. KMCI has sold these machines for years, and they are installed in facilities all over the world. This unit was used for R&D, and it has extremely low hours (250 or less). I am selling this unit on behalf of KMCI, and the original design engineers and service technicians are available to maintain the machine- we can provide a full or partial warranty, depending on the price. It sells for $160,000.00 new, but they have authorized a substantial discount. It is identical to the units in the picture. I can provide detail pictures of the system upon request. The machine is in storage in the Santa Ana California area, and can be inspected in person by appointment. FEATURES: Cure Speed range is programmable from 0 - 150 cm/minute to allow variable UV dosage to be applied to the product. Draw from Solution range is programmable from 0 - 150 cm/minute to allow variable coating thicknesses to be applied to the product. Built in radiometer sensor for UV light intensity. Catheter/guidewire coat lengths up to 170 cm with maximum speed of 150 cm/minute. Catheter/guidewires can be 300cm total length. Drying parameters are controlled by a combination of airflow and programmable temperature control up to 300 degrees F. These changeable parameters enable clients to pinpoint the optimal drying process which is critical to ensure coating integrity. Unit is sealed and light tight to protect against high intensity UV light exposure. SAFETY: System architecture meets rigorous U.S. FDA good manufacturing practices including mechanical, process and software validation procedures. The machines are CE compliant.
