Knife Making: Tracking wheel hinged assembly for left/right hand mounting.  This listing answers certain requests by buyers who want to test their own skills in building the belt sander.  It is is a ready made component and designed to fit many belt sander projects. Mounts directly on the arm.  Will accept all belts up to 2-1/4" wide. There may be necessary to add or remove spacer washers from the wheel shaft. Some are included here for your convenience. The Idle/Trucking Wheel is 3” OD x 2-1/4” wide (convex for better tracking). It has 1/2” ID, Premium Quality ABEC 3 sealed bearing pressed into pockets and is precision made of machined aluminum.    It is highly adaptable and can be successfully used with many projects.
