Knipex Oetiker Plier or Pincer Tool Set of 3 including 1099 & 1098 Side Jaw Ear Clamp Pincers and End Cut Carpenters Nippers plus Very Rare and Early Old 4 3/4" Farriers Nippers - no longer made by Knipex and as early scarce and vintage a Knipex Tool as you'll find This nice set of 3 Knipex Pliers Nippers or Pincers were acquired through the estate of general contractor and avid lifelong tool collector, who spared no expense in acquiring the finest tools for his trade and collection, and these are a terrific example.   The early nippers are in beautiful condition as found, and haven't been cleaned yet in any way, they are straight and true and the jaws are near flawless.  The 1099 are in nice, very gently used condition with only very light surface rust beginning, the 1098 Carpenters Nippers are marked "W Germany" and "PAT" and were made in West Germany and are an early marked Patent Knipex tool, they do have wear to the jaws but have generations of life left in them.  All will clean up amazing if you choose, or all are ready to put to use, and at a fraction of retail too!!  The 1099 have been replaced with the current 14100083 Pincers and have a list price of $60.95 alone plus shipping!  Carpenters and Farriers Pincers and Concreters Nippers are still produced by Knipex today, but they simply no longer make this RARE and small size - 4 3/4" - and these are nice!  Please check the pictures carefully for exactly what's included, and for the exact age and condition Thank you for looking and Insured Priority Mail Shipping is Fast and Free in the U.S.A.
