You are bidding on a used (refurbished) Kompac 1819-2 water unit. This unit is for the second color head on any 1850 size Multi including the 1870, 1862, 1962 and 4620. I think it could be made to fit the first color head also but might require some extra mounting hardware from Kompac or another Kompac unit. This Kompac has a new top cover, new metering roller, new seals and an almost new form roller and it has been calibrated. If any of these parts (excluding the seals) are bad in a unit you have then this Kompac is a good buy even if you use it for parts. The parts that have to be removed from the second color head make installing this unit a somewhat involved process but it is not terribly difficult. If I do not have the instructions for doing this I will try to get them before I ship it. If you already have a Kompac on the first color head of your Multi then you really should have one on the second color head as well. Then you pretty much do not have to worry about ink and water balance while you are printing. I am selling it as is with no return but it should work very well. I am offering free freight to the continental USA. I will accept PayPal, check, US Postal money order or bank to bank wire transfer but if you pay by check it could delay your shipment by two or three weeks.
