Product Manual Krea Swiss is the same familiar brand/manufacturer you’ve known as Krebs. Only the name has changed. The company has not, and neither have its products. They are made by the same people, in the same country, and under the same quality controls. Krebs chocMELTER, 13 Pound (6 Kilogram) Container Capacity Manual tempering Digital display with lit numbers Lighted on/off rocker switch Temperature range 68 to 140 Fahrenheit (20 to 60 Celsius) 7 inch wide not counting handles, 14-15/16 inch deep, 8-9/16 inch high not counting vat* 9-1/2 inch wide counting unit handles, 9-13/16 inch high counting vat and vat handles 13 pounds net weight, counting vat and lid *A steam pan with handles for lifting it out of the unit. Nesting in the well of the unit, the vat contains the chocolate. Covering the vat with the lid (included) retains heat best. Through a corner hole in the vat you insert the temperature probe into the chocolate. Using the chocMELTER chocolate warmer/heater means spending less time at a pot of chocolate on the stove to watch out for overheating. With the chocMELTER, you type in the target warmth, the digital display shows the current temperature and changes its numbers as the temperature climbs, and once the chocolate reaches the keyed-in temperature, the chocMelter clicks and shuts off. In both cost of unit and energy consumed during use, the manual chocMELTER is a money-saving alternative to pricey automatic temperers.
