Payment | Shipping | Policies Krik-It - The ORIGINAL AUDIO IRRIGATION VALVE LOCATOR Click to View Image Album The Krik-It is The ORIGINAL Audio Irrigation Valve Locator Useful on most solenoid operated irrigation valves, it has been field proven since 1990 when it was invented by the Irrigation Specialist. It is small and handy, and uses power from the controller, so it needs NO expensive replacement batteries. It pays for itself in one or two uses as its cost is far less than any other standard type valve locators available today. The Krik-it makes solenoid valves fairly easy to locate... especially underground. Easily connected to any AC controller, it sends out a low frequency pulse to the valves which make quite a racket when energized. Useful to maintenance folks for identifying valves as it's a lot easier to locate and identify valves BEFORE problems arise so you KNOW where they are… before it's over 100 degrees with plants wilting and dying. The Krik-It has a built in, bright red LED which confirms continuity to the valve and serves as a visual aid as to the specific frequency you're listening for. One other thing that I hadn't mentioned in the info either on eBay or the brochures is that the Krik-It doesn't work very well on some Toro valves or any solenoids with plastic encased plungers. Steel casings work best and, luckily, nearly all solenoids have stainless steel linings. There are some guys out there who have copied the Krik-It invention and are manufacturing it. They claim their product will locate all valves… even Toro. Not too truthful with the public. Some Toro valves are tough, if not impossible, to find with an audio valve locator. Please keep that in mind. Nevertheless, with a good set of ears, Toro solenoids occasionally can be found in quiet surroundings, but nothing like the steel lined solenoids. (A piece of 2" PVC pipe with one end set on the ground and the other end held to your ear will help considerably to locate solenoids. It helps muffle out other outside noises.) WARRANTY This product is covered with a limited warranty against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for a period of 24 (twenty four) months from the date of purchase. Within this period the manufacturer will, at his option, repair or replace the product or any part thereof without charge for parts or labor. The warranty will only be in effect when the product is RETURNED DIRECTLY TO THE MFG'R. Save your sales and/or PayPal receipt as there will be no exceptions!!!!
