KUNDIG Gmbh (GERMANY) TOPIQ WIDEBELT SANDER 1-43" 64 FLA START AMPS 20 HP MOTOR 3PH 230V AMPMETER BUILT IN GAUGE ON FRONT OF MACHINE. Very low usage on this machine. Moved only once since installed. Original owner. Never Crashed and no flaws on rubber contact drum. Optical eye controlled pneumatic tracking system provides for fast shutdown when belt tears or fails. Kundig built this machine well. The battleship solid thick gauge steel frame houses all the pneumatics and electronics which are top quality components. No cheap import controls or gauges. This machine was removed from service when plant closed and when you open the doors up on it it looks like new. Rubber feed belt is original and in great condition and most important it tracks perfectly. Cosmetic paint rubbed off infeed and outfeed table guards. 25hp Motor on single-combination head machine. Combination head can be run on the contact drum for stock removal or the platen can be activated for orbital fine sanding. Needs some cleanup and paint to restore this machine to as new condition. OTHERS MAKE WIDEBELT SANDERS BUT THIS IS A WELL MADE MACHINE FROM GERMANY. Kundig makes BMW of widebelt machines. The key to success of Kundig widebelts is heads move instead of table. Timesaver, Cemco, Ramco or especially Grizzly and other import machines of the earlier manufacture mostly adjusted sanding height by lowering and raising table. This allows for standard height infeed and outfeed tables and conveyors or collection carts. Major manufacturers have all switched to this style as of late, such as the new line produced by Laguna Tools. However, the older, used machines typically have table adjusted stock dimensioning. Machine was installed in our plant by HOLZ-HER professional installation crew and serviced by the same. This assures that the proper electrical current and circuit protection requirements were met as well as dust collection adequate to run machine optimally. LOW HOURS ON MACHINE THAT WAS ONLY USED A FEW HOURS A WEEK IN A SMALL PRODUCTION SHOP. For sale locally, therefore the listing may be ended at any time.
