[zipedit] ROLAND Vinyl Cutter Plotter blades 45 degrees X5 Made in Japan Don't buy some made in China JUNK, your Roland plotter or print/cut machine was made in Japan, buy your blades from Japan too! You are looking at a package of 5 Made in Japan (MIJ) Roland 45 degree cutter/plotter blades. These blades will work in any Roland plotter / vinyl cutter or print / cut machine. These blades are sourced in Japan by ME, and I ship and package them personally from Tokyo upon receipt of cleared payment. All shipments are made by airmail. Orders over a certain value are tracked and insured for free. These blades are made of high quality tungsten carbide and will stand up to professional use in a busy sign-shop. Many of my customers include local governments doing road signage, sign shops making vinyl wraps for buses, etc. Don't waste your time adjusting pressure settings on Chinese blades that break their tips and need constant care - My blades are the real deal. Is that $3-4 savings really worth the hassle of poor shipping and junk product? Shipping & Returns: Shipping is via Japan Airmail, Registered Airmail or EMS depending on what you choose. Standard airmail takes about 1-2 weeks to anywhere in Western Europe, USA and Canada. Other countries may take less or more time. EMS usually arrives very quickly but can still be held up by customs. I do not recommend urgent orders, ever. If your shipment hasn't arrived after longer than 2 weeks, please contact me! DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK WITHOUT CONTACTING ME FIRST. Shipping is done on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at noon Japan time (UTC +9 hours). So if your order comes in too late in the day, that means it goes out on the next shipping day, alrighty folks? Don't worry - it all gets shipped. In the off chance of an out of stock situation, I will immediately contact you. Most shipping problems are on the receiving end. Japan is a tiny island, once I ship them they are out of the country by the next day - please contact your post office first because most likely they have your product. Another common source of trouble is the dreaded "next door delivery" mailman. Check these first, and contact me, BEFORE going nuts with the negative feedback button. Blades are non returnable and non refundable. If you feel you have received a defective product please contact me immediately and I will rectify the situation. I stand by the quality of these blades and blade holders. Positive Feedback: I leave feedback upon receipt of payment. If you are satisfied with my goods, I ask that you provide me with positive feedback as well. Every positive feedback counts! Please, do not leave neutral or negative feedback without contacting me first! If you have a problem, contact me - I will do my best to solve it. Customer Service: I take customer service very seriously and I always try to reply to any emails sent as soon as I receive them. If you have questions regarding your order, or otherwise have any problems, please contact me. Keep in mind there's probably a large time lag between us so we may be sleeping while you're in business hours. Payment is due within 4 days of the auction end. PLEASE PAY WITHIN 4 DAYS OF THE END OF THE AUCTION OR OTHERWISE CONTACT US! Please double check that you are OK with my shipping costs and shipping times prior to bidding. I like smooooooth transactions, so if you're super jittery and need your blades in 15 seconds, you should find a local supplier, I don't need trouble. Q&A Time! Q: Who are you? A: My name is James, I'm originally from Canada but I've lived in Tokyo, Japan for nearly 8 years. Now I live in a house that kind of looks like a cross between what you'd see in the movies "Totoro" and "Mononoke Hime" and you can expect kodama to jump from the tree branches any second..! - Fans of Japan/Studio Ghibli will understand this reference. I RENT (I'm not rich!) a small organic farm / field around my house where I grow my own food, herbs, raise chickens, and try to keep myself healthy. I have a cute Japanese girlfriend who I like very much and we will probably get married to sometime in 2016, after I finish making the perfect outdoor wedding garden (She doesn't know about that yet). There are mountains all around my house so I climb them almost every week. I have a background with Roland printers and hold a Roland Certified Technician qualification for their printers and vinyl cutters, and I've been to their factory in Hamamatsu which is not far from where I live. I go fishing with some of the workers there every so often. Q: Your blades look the same as all the other Chinese junk on ebay. Are you a scammer? What's the difference? A: No, I'm not a scammer and yes they do look the same. There are a few reasons for that; #1 for cost cutting, the packaging I use is sourced from China which is why the box may be the same as Chinese ebay blades. Believe me packaging like little boxes and grey foam like Roland uses is more expensive to buy in Japan than you'd think. #2 If you still don't believe me, put my blades under a microscope and compare them with Chinese blades you will immediately see why mine are more expensive. My blades are very high quality steel, designed to hold an edge longer under tough conditions, rotate reliably in the holder etc. I have never received a single complaint about the quality of my blades EVER. Occasional angry customers about shipping taking 3hours longer than expected, but NEVER a complaint about blade quality. That speaks for something, I think. The main difference you will see, is that you won't have to spend a lot of time weeding uncut corners on letters and sharp angles when you use my blades. My blades stay sharper for longer than my competition. Q: How long will it take to receive my blades / blade holders? A: Generally if you live in a developed country, 1-2 weeks. I find that US shipments tend to be pretty quick, especially west coast. Canada is often slow. Most of Europe is quick but the UK can sometimes bog down. Singapore usually takes 1-2 weeks. Expect delays if you're ordering around a holiday season in your country. Also, Japan is subject to Typhoons and Earthquakes and freak Snowstorms (They can't handle 'em) - this occasionally affects shipping speed. If you live in a remote country like in certain areas of Asia, or in South America (Brazil, etc), shipping can take up to 4-8 weeks. This is not my fault - it's your postal system. Sorry guys. I can ship by DHL or Fedex but it will cost you a fortune. You're better off buying an insured box of dozens of blades from me in bulk once or twice per year. I do offer discounts for bulk buyers/resellers. IF YOU NEED YOUR BLADES REALLY QUICKLY, FIND A LOCAL SUPPLIER FIRST, OR PAY FOR EMS SHIPPING AND ACCEPT THE RISK THAT THE MAILING SYSTEM IS NOT BULLETPROOF. Q: My blades haven't arrived yet. I'm angry. Growl. A: Calm down. Has it been two weeks since your payment date? If not - please hold on a little longer, alright? I ship on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays every week, barring any typhoons or other disasters your blades reached your country within 72 hours of me receiving your payment. The problem lies with your post office or your neighbors collecting your mail by mistake. Q: It's been like 3-5 weeks and I still don't have the blades. A: Contact me, I will resolve this for you. There is no need for negative feedback. Q: I have more questions / complaints / I want to buy something that's not listed in your auctions / Can you buy XYZ item for me in Japan? A: Contact me, I'll be happy to help, and yes I do offer a repurchasing service but with some limitations on electronics due to shipping trouble with lithium-ion batteries. Random customers will sometimes get free goods or gifts along with their order as a token of my appreciation for your business. I typically put in a free gift once in every 20-30 orders.
