la cimbali espresso machine. Condition is "Used". For sale is a LaCimbali M21 1 group volumetric espresso machine! These machines are TANKS. Consistent, high-quality espresso every time. This machine was put into service for less than a year in a commercial setting with regularly scheduled professional preventative maintenance. A little about the machine. This is a volumetric semi-automatic espresso machine. This means that shot volumes are programmed into the machine for single, double, and triple shots. Once espresso is dosed into the appropriate protafilter, operator would presses the corresponding button. Cimbali features "passive" pre-infustion by holding down each of the volumetric buttons for 2 seconds. This starts a slow flow of water ( around 4 bar ) into the group head, for several seconds before ramping up to 9 bar for the duration of the shot. This creates a better coffee saturation - for a sweeter, more fully extracted shot of espresso. The machine also features a semi-automatic start/stop button for customizing and weighing espresso shots in real time. This is useful for dialing in single origin espresso or if you are featuring a blend for a short period of time. The steam wand is fully functional and provides great micro foam. These machines are great for FOOD TRUCKS, DEMO, CATERING, etc. the drip tray comes factory sealed, ( not drilled for plumbing ) and can hold around 16 oz of water. This tray can easily be replaced ( around $90 ) and drilled for plumbing into a 5 gallon water bottle etc. Standard inlet hose easily attaches to John Guest style push fittings for easy hook-up. Works great on a flow-jet as well, so catering and demo are easy to set up and break down. Weighs around 100 lbs when boiler is full. This was originally purchased new with single owner. Pictures show clean, well maintained chassis and boiler and electric. Service and repair on this machine is easy and straightforward for most any tech.
