I am the original owner and this comes from a pet free and non-smoking household.   I used this exclusively as an espresso grinder.   This is an excellent espresso grinder and you can make very fine adjustments.  The other fantastic thing about this particular grinder is that it fits under standard height kitchen cabinets as it stands 17" tall. I purchased this grinder new from Chris Coffee and  I have the original cartons and will send it to you that way.  I have the original manual. This grinder has been professionally serviced a year ago and it has been only used about 2 dozen times since it was serviced, as I upgraded both my espresso machine and my espresso grinder. This grinder is built like a tank and has never caused me any problems.   The servicing a year ago was just routine  and just involved cleaning of the grinder and a check to see if it needed new burrs (it did not). This grinder does not have any scratches or dings on it.  The only cosmetic item is with the electric cord, as it got too close to a toaster oven about 4 years ago.   It does not impact the functionality of the grinder and when I took it in for servicing they did not replace the cord as it does not impact functionality.  I took a close up picture of that so you can see -- it did not sever or melt any of the internal wires inside the cord -- just the external grey part of the cord in that one spot as pictured.
