Lab Chemistry Equipment Lot Set includes: Ring Stands: two stands - One has 4"x 6" base, one has 5"x 8" base - heavy cast iron, black bases with sturdy upright rods Ring Supports: two supports, approximately 4" in diameter, attaches to ring stand to support beakers, flasks, etc. Cast Iron. Burette Clamp: one clamp - metal, attaches to ring stand to hold a single burette, test tube, flask, etc. Jaw opens from 3/8" to 1-1/2". Glass Stirring Rod: one rod, approximately 10" long Glass Thermometers: two thermometers, approximately 10" long Alcohol Lamp & Stand: one lamp - glass base, nickel-plated cap, and fiber wick. Uses denatured or ethyl alcohol. One stand - 4 1/2" tall wire frame with wire gauze top. Watch Glasses: two glasses - slight depression making them useful whenever a shallow vessel is required for a reaction surface Wire Gauze: one piece of 5" square wire gauze that has a 4" ceramic center. Rests on a ring support to hold glassware above a burner. Beakers: Two beakers - one 400 ml and one 600 ml Pyrex. Made in U.S. of high-quality borosilicate glass and can be heated directly in an open flame. Flask: One flask - 250 ml Erlenmeyer, Pyrex, used to heat liquids and capture gases given off during reactions. Graduated Cylinder, Glass: one 100 ml cylinder - easy to read and chemically resistant for all applications. Plastic base. Imported. Test Tubes: two test tubes, glass, small, 6" long Miscellaneous equipment: Includes 10 wood splints; one pair of Safety Goggles; one Glass Vial - 15 ml, 21 mm diameter x 70 mm high; one 250 ml Plastic Bottle; two Plastic-Backed Thermometers; two cork stoppers, two rubber stoppers; one bottle Iodine and one bottle of Sulfur flour (purchased about 15 years ago - may or may not be viable)
