Benchtop Shell Freezers provide a means to freeze a thin coating of sample on the inside walls of flasks. Since shell frozen samples have a greater surface area than slab frozen samples, freeze drying is enhanced. In our opinion, unit is "just a little too heavy" to ship boxed via regular ground service. To avoid any possible "toss-n-drop" handling, we will safely pack and secure to a half pallet for shipping via freight. Please contact us for shipping quotes.
