This auction is for a fully functional Labconco rotary evaporator - an absolute necessity for anyone engaged in organic synthesis and or isolation/purification of organic compounds.  It is also perfect and indispensable for anyone who is engaged in the art of molecular gastronomy - chefs and high-end restaurant owners. I have only used this about six times since i bought it and since then it has been stored in several boxes.  When  I purchased this, I found that the bath controller was not functional, but I found the part and paid someone to replace it for me and now everything works perfectly. As the photos show, this unit has digital controls for heating and rate of rotation as well a digital display that shows bath set temperature, bath actual temperature, vapor phase temperature and rotational speed.  It comes with vapor phase thermometer, 1L receiving flask with SJ joint and retaining clamp and distilling flask as shown.  There is a tube for continuous solution feed so that it is unnecessary to take off the distilling flask in order to add more solution. Also included is a little giant pump that can be used to circulate ice water from a plastic bucket, which is also included.  Vacuum tubing and water hoses are provided as well. This unit is not one of the cheap Chinese-made evaporators that one sees flooding the market today.  It is a domestically produced unit that was built to last.  Incidentally, the vapor temperature detector is pretty novel and I haven't seen this on any other commercially available units.  I will pay the shipping costs, which are substantial, given the weight of this unit..
