LABTEC SPACEBALL 4000-FLX 3D TRACKBALL SERIAL MOUSE New and improved ``flexible" 3D Controller and software bring a whole new level of 3D interactive motion control to your application. The new Spaceball FLX enables you to pan, zoom and rotate 3D models with simultaneous 6D (six degrees-of-freedom) control as you build, modify and inspect designs -- within your application! With the Spaceball FLX PowerSensor technology, you can easily move or rotate your 3D by gently pushing, pulling or twisting the PowerSensor ball. The model then moves in the direction of the force or twist applied. The Spaceball 3D Motion controller also provides smooth and dynamic model manipulation in that the greater the pressure applied to the ball, the faster the model moves or rotates. Its ergonomically designed base lets you rest your hands in a very natural, relaxed position, reducing hand and arm stress and fatigue. Features Easy installation. For most hardware platforms, the new Spaceball does not require an external power supply. Simply plug the Spaceball Serial Interface Cable directly into the serial port of your system. True 3D interface. The Spaceball is not meant to replace the mouse.
