This sale is for a Laboratory Surplus New in the box Lakewood Instruments Model 250 Series Boiler Blowdown Conductivity Controller. The box was only opened for picture taking purposes. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to call me at 916-761-6310.Thanks Mark The Model 250 Boiler Controller measures conductivity using the sample/cycle technique. The Model 250 is intended to control boiler water dissolved solids by measuring and controlling the surface blowdown water conductivity. By measuring the blowdown conductivity, the controller is capable of holding the boiler water conductivity with excellent results. This control results in considerable fuel savings by preventing excessive blowdown. The controller also protects the steam lines by preventing carry-over due to excessive conductivity. The Model 250 uses the sample/cycle technique and is intended for boilers of less than 1,000 lb./hr under normal operating loads.
