Begin packaging & shipping your merchandise efficiently today. Extra large Vacuum skin packager, 40" x 70" platen. I was told by the previous owner the machine was purchased in 1983. In 2003, more efficient Infra-red(IR) heating elements were retrofit onto the machine. from proheatinc.com on quartz radiant process heating elements: "80% of rating in 20 seconds, 100% full heat in 40 seconds." "Quick heat and cool response." There are 6 vacuums that suck the plastic onto the media, counter weights to ease applying plastic film into pneumatic film frame, & a bell for timing your operation; Though I can't, or don't know how to, get it to function. 6 replacement bulbs, skin boards, & plastic film. I'm willing to personally deliver anywhere in socal. Which should save you time & a lot of money. TO OPERATE: This is a manually operated vacuum skin packager 1. Roll the heating enclosure to the back position so that it is not over the film frame. 2. Roll the plastic onto the pneumatic film frame. 3. Activate the pnuematic control to raise the film frame. 4. Place cardboard sheet & parts ready for shipment onto platen. 5. Roll the heating element enclosure back over the plastic film frame. 6. Activate the heating element. 7. The Plastic will sag, the become taught. The plastic has been heated properly after sagging again. Begin lowering the film frame 8.
