This auction is for the large train wreck printing plate pictured. It is in the excellent condition shown.    This printing plate measures approx. 7 inches wide, 5 1/2 inches tall, and 1 inch thick. It is made of wood, copper, and lead or steel. It features a train wreck in copper and "Prevention Costs Less" in either lead or steel. All are attached to the wood block with small nails. On one side edge, Is the name Davis B. B. stamped into the wood. My apologies for not taking a picture of the name I actually did not see it until I was creating this listing. Paper is stuck to the back side from being in storage for a number of years. Could be interesting reading if removed. Please see pictures. They are the best description. A great train wreck printing plate. A top shelf addition to any collection. Good luck to all bidders. Guy. NOTE: I will be listing other railroad printing plates from the same group.
