Designed to reflect a traditional antique partner's desk, the desk features reversible double sided pedestals with drawers on one side and a cabinet door on the other. The desk top is fitted with a three section, tooled leather writing surface. Constructed with solid hardwood, all of the drawers are dovetailed with wood-on-wood glides with the exception of the two larger drawers which are adapted to fit hanging file folders and equipped with steel ball bearing glides. Additional features include bracket feet, aged brass hardware and skeleton keys for the locking cabinet doors. The heavy desk conveniently ships in 3 pieces to allow entry into most doorways.
