Large Taper Surface Grinder Wheel Adapter for 5” ID Wheels, Used: This used wheel adapter is in excellent condition. There is no brand name on it, but this wheel adapter came from a surplus lot we bought from IBM many years ago. All of the other arbor wheel adapters in this lot were Sopco. The large end of the taper mount measures 1 1/4 ”. This adapter measures 7” in diameter and will hold large diameter 3/8” to 1” thick grinding wheels. This adapter uses six 3/8” x 16 cap screws for holding the plates securely against the wheel. Included with this arbor is a 2 piece balancing weight set. There is a threaded 1 1/2 ” x 18 TPI internal thread at the end of the taper for a dismounting tool (not included). This arbor is sold with the Kent’s Tools 30 Day Satisfaction Guarantee.
