Veterinary penlite laryngoscope made of heavy gauge stainless steel. The instrument will accept any standard penlite. Much easier to use than the bulky folding scopes all of which were designed for humans. This instrument was designed by a practicing Veterinarian for use in an exotic and dog and cat practice so it has been tried out under all conditions and in numerous species. It can be used for intubation and oropharyngeal exam in any small animal species including dogs of any size, cats, rodents, rabbits, goats, pigs, monkeys, many zoo animals, snakes, reptiles and others. Very useful for retracting the cheeks in rodents, rabbits and other animals to visualize and operate on the molars because the operator has control of the retractor and light source. Overall length is 9 inches. Each unit comes with one penlight.
